On the margins of the 28th MCO, the Acting Minister of International Relations Honourable Ramaotwana Nelson Ramaotwana, held discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar, Honourable Alice N'Diaye. Madagascar expressed its appreciation for Botswana’s support during its transition period and heralded the democratic principles of Botswana. The Acting Minister of International Relations reiterated Botswana’s support and emphasized the importance of a SADC led and that Madagascar owned the process to restore democracy for the benefit of the people of Madagascar.
